What I Learned at the TeppeN Leadership Meeting
A few days ago, I had the opportunity to attend the TeppeN Leadership Meeting in Kurume, Japan.

This gathering was a little different for me. Instead of simply networking or exchanging business ideas, I found myself opening up about the challenges I have been facing as the CEO of my company.
Running a business is a journey filled with uncertainty. Every day brings difficult decisions, and there is rarely a perfect answer. I often ask myself:
“Is this the right decision?”
“Is this truly the best choice for our staff and the people we serve?”
These questions are part of my everyday life.
During the meeting, I had the privilege of speaking with Mr. F, a business leader I deeply respect and think of as an older brother, along with several experienced entrepreneurs who have always welcomed me with kindness. They listened carefully, shared their own experiences, encouraged me, and offered valuable advice.
The greatest realization I took home was simple:
I am not alone.
Hearing that others have faced similar struggles lifted a weight from my shoulders. It reminded me that leadership is not about having all the answers—it’s about continuing to move forward, learning from others, and growing through every challenge.
Being a business owner can sometimes feel lonely. That’s why having mentors and trusted friends who are willing to listen honestly is something I truly treasure.
I left the meeting with renewed energy, fresh perspectives, and a stronger determination to continue improving—for our staff, for the people who rely on our services, and for our local community.
To everyone at the TeppeN Leadership Meeting, thank you for your wisdom, your encouragement, and your friendship.

I look forward to paying that kindness forward someday.
