今日のお昼、Moana久留米事務所へ立ち寄ると・・・

リハビリ主任と看護主任の二人が真剣に話し合いをしていました。

話の内容は、訪問スケジュールの調整や利用者さんへの支援方法について。

「どうしたらより良い支援ができるか」
「どうしたらスタッフみんなが動きやすいか」

そんなことを、一つひとつ丁寧に確認しながら話し合う姿がとても印象的でした。

僕はその後ろ姿を眺めながら、このブログを書いています。笑

会社を経営していると、正直「数字」に目が向くこともあります。でも、本当に会社をつくっているのは、こうして利用者さんのこと、スタッフ仲間のことを真剣に考え、行動してくれている一人ひとりの存在なのだと改めて感じました。

自分の仕事だけではなく、Moana全体のことを考え、より良いチームにしようと動いてくれている姿は、本当に頼もしく、代表として心から感謝しています。

そして今日も外は炎天下。（外は35°以上。汗）

日本一暑い街、久留米らしい暑さの中、利用者さんのもとへ訪問しているスタッフがいます。

暑さで体力も奪われる中、それでも笑顔で訪問し、一人ひとりに寄り添い、必要なケアやリハビリを届けてくれています。

当たり前のように見えるその仕事は、決して当たり前ではありません。

利用者さんやご家族が安心して生活できるのは、現場で汗を流し続けてくれるスタッフのおかげです。

今日、事務所で見た主任二人の姿、そして暑い中で訪問を続けるスタッフの姿を見て、

代表として誇らしい気持ちと、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいになりました。

みんな、本当にいつもありがとう。

皆さんの頑張りが、Moanaというチームを支えています。

A Lunchtime Moment That Made Me Feel Grateful

Earlier today, I stopped by our Moana Kurume office during lunch.

As I walked in, I found our Rehabilitation Manager and Nursing Manager deep in discussion.

They were carefully reviewing visit schedules, talking through client care, and exploring ways to improve how we work together as a team.

“How can we provide even better care?”
“How can we make it easier for every staff member to do their best work?”

Those were the kinds of conversations they were having.

I found myself quietly watching them from behind—and, honestly, that’s when I started writing this blog.

As a business owner, it’s easy to spend a lot of time looking at numbers, performance, and growth.

But moments like this remind me that a company isn’t built by numbers alone.

It’s built by people.

People who genuinely care about their clients.

People who care about their teammates.

People who are willing to stop, think, communicate, and work together to make the entire organization stronger.

Seeing our leaders take ownership not only of their own responsibilities but of the future of the whole team made me feel incredibly proud.

I’m truly grateful to have colleagues like them.

Outside, the temperature was over 35°C (95°F)—another scorching summer day in Kurume, one of Japan’s hottest cities.

Even in that intense heat, our staff were out visiting clients, bringing nursing care and rehabilitation services directly into their homes.

It’s demanding work.

They move from house to house, carrying equipment, getting in and out of their cars countless times, all while maintaining a smile and giving each client the attention and compassion they deserve.

It may seem ordinary from the outside, but there is nothing ordinary about what they do.

The comfort and peace of mind our clients and their families experience each day are possible because of the dedication of our team on the front lines.

Watching our two managers talking together today, and knowing that so many staff members were working hard under the blazing summer sun, reminded me once again how fortunate I am.

As the CEO, I couldn’t be more proud.
